After a week of volatility, the price of gold in Pakistan has remained stable.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The price of gold in Pakistan stayed constant on Wednesday, after dipping marginally the day before.

The price of gold (24 carats) remained steady at Rs. 233,100 per tola, according to data issued by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), while the price of 10 grammes held at Rs. 199,846.

The price of gold increased by Rs. 1,100 per tola on Monday, but then decreased by Rs. 2,000 per tola on Tuesday. This means that the price of gold has fallen by Rs. 900 per tola in the first three sessions of the week.

This is in stark contrast to the previous week, when the price of gold increased by Rs. 8,500 per tola. In both March and April, the price of the precious metal increased by Rs. 10,000 per tola.

Gold prices fell 0.1 percent in the international market today, with spot gold down 0.1 percent at $1,986.64 per ounce by 0854 GMT, while US gold futures fell 0.1 percent to $1,991.50.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
