[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]LAHORE: The cricket boards of Afghanistan and Nepal have confirmed that they will play Asia Cup matches in Pakistan.
The development comes as Bangladesh has also assured the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of the same via email, as the latter is emphasising the hybrid model after India was hesitant to visit Pakistan to participate in the event.
India has been offered a neutral venue to play its matches under the hybrid model. India’s reservations about the model proposed by PCB chief Najam Sethi have no bearing on the upcoming matches in Pakistan.
The assurances from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal have boosted the chances of the hybrid model being approved.
