Rashid Khan joins Lahore Qalandars

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Rashid Khan of Afghanistan arrived in Pakistan late on Tuesday to compete in the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to sources, Khan arrived in Pakistan late Monday night via Dubai.

On its official Twitter account, Lahore Qalandars welcomed Afghanistan’s cricketer with the words “Khush Amdeed” (welcome).

 

England’s Sam Billings was playing for Lahore as a replacement for Khan after defending champions Qalandars signed him in an online Replacement Draft for the PSL 2023.

Rashid Khan, an Afghan spinner, has joined Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League 2023.

Billings expressed his delight at joining the Qalandars family on Twitter, writing: “I’m overjoyed to be a part of the Lahore Qalandars family! I’m very excited to play in Pakistan for the first time.”

The 24-year-old spinner will take part in today’s match between the Lahore Qalandars and the Quetta Gladiators in Karachi.

Due to domestic responsibilities, the leg-spinner was unable to participate.
