Adidas has revealed the official match balls for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s Champions League, both produced in Pakistan. The launch followed the conclusion of the Champions League play-off matches.
For the men’s edition, Adidas drew inspiration from the night sky, with a gold-and-blue finish highlighted by hand-drawn zodiac signs symbolizing heroism and destiny. The women’s ball takes cues from deep space and the Northern Lights, featuring dark purple tones, neon green gradients, and luminous pink stars. Both versions showcase the Adidas Badge of Sport and Champions League logos.
Beyond their striking designs, the balls feature advanced technology for top performance. The PRISMA surface enhances precision, swerve, and grip, while the thermally bonded seamless build ensures durability. At the core lies the CTR-CORE, a zero-waste natural rubber bladder reinforced with PES fabric to provide strength and shape retention.
The 2025/26 models are also the most eco-friendly in tournament history, crafted with recycled polyester, water-based inks, and bio-based materials including corn fibers, sugarcane, wood pulp, and rubber — all without compromising performance.
Among this development, Pakistan’s local football academy is set to train with the German club Borussia Dortmund
