Renowned actor and host Faisal Qureshi has faced accusations from a YouTuber regarding his relationship with his mother, veteran actress Afshan Qureshi. The YouTuber claimed that Faisal, who owes much of his success to his mother’s efforts, did not appreciate her and allegedly moved her out of his home.
In an interview with filmmaker Pervez Kaleem, the YouTuber discussed the strained relationship, stating that Afshan Qureshi had pushed for Faisal’s career in films, even pleading with Kaleem to cast him in hero roles. The YouTuber added that the entire media was aware of Faisal moving his mother out of his home a year ago.

Pervez Kaleem expressed his disappointment in response, saying that if Faisal could not respect his own mother, it raised questions about his respect for others. Kaleem noted his shock at Faisal’s actions, emphasizing that both he and Afshan Qureshi, who had been instrumental in Faisal’s career, were not valued by him.
Afshan Qureshi had previously mentioned in an interview that she had prayed for her son’s success but should have also prayed for him to become a good son and person, indicating her discontent with Faisal.
However, Afshan Qureshi refuted these claims when an Instagram page quoted her interview, accusing them of spreading false news. She urged people to stop sharing such information and using cheap tactics for views and comments.
Faisal Qureshi responded to the allegations with humor, saying he laughed a lot when the issue first arose. He told his mother that she did not need to justify anything, though she did anyway. Faisal found the trolling amusing and remarked on how social media can turn trivial matters into significant issues through manipulation and editing, highlighting the reality of today’s digital age.
