Following the launch of Apple’s MacBook Neo, Acer has introduced its own budget-friendly laptop in the same price range, offering higher memory and storage for office and everyday use.
The new Acer Go 16 (N25JJ3) combines an Intel Core 5 210H processor with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, designed to handle smooth multitasking, fast data access, and productivity workloads efficiently.
The device sports a 16-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, slightly taller than standard screens to improve comfort when working with documents, spreadsheets, or browsing the web. The panel covers 45% of the NTSC color gamut, indicating it is optimized for general use rather than color-critical tasks.
For thermal management, Acer has equipped the Go 16 with a dual-fan cooling system and dual heat pipes, along with three selectable performance modes that adjust the laptop’s behavior depending on the workload.
The laptop features a 65Wh battery rated for up to 10 hours of usage, a backlit keyboard, and an HD webcam with a physical privacy switch. Its chassis is 17.9 mm thick and weighs 1.81 kg, making it portable for daily office tasks.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, three USB-A ports, HDMI 1.4, RJ45 Ethernet, a microSD card slot, and a 2-in-1 audio jack. Acer has priced the Go 16 at approximately $596 in China, matching the launch price of the MacBook Neo while offering more memory and storage.
