Anida Arain, an air hostess, has been barred from working on international flights for two months, and her male coworker Haji Zafar Ali, who was also involved in the incident, has received a letter of disapproval from the airline.
Two female flight attendants and a male employee arrived at a private hotel in the nation’s capital on April 16. When Arain’s request for a room was turned down, the hotel administration complained that she had acted impolitely.

Arain and Ali can be seen screaming at hotel staff in a video of the incident, accusing them of working with guest houses.
Arain was talking on the phone when she became furious and smashed the phone receiver on the hotel desk. The receptionist became enraged by this and can be seen in the video demanding security to eject the crew members.
The PIA management expressed its displeasure with its staff members’ inappropriate behaviour and sent Arain and Ali a letter of reprimand in response. Concern was expressed in the letter on the improper conduct, which was described as being unprofessional and damaging to PIA’s organisational reputation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
