Serene Air, a privately-owned Pakistani airline, has announced its intention to launch two weekly flights connecting Karachi and Beijing. Commencing from November 18 this year, the flights will operate via Islamabad and will terminate at Daxing International Airport, one of Beijing’s two international airports, according to Gwadar Pro.

This new direct route aims to provide cost-effective travel options for both Pakistani and Chinese travelers, particularly benefiting business professionals, students, and individuals involved in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in Pakistan.

Serene Air has been serving domestic routes since 2017, complying with Pakistani regulations that mandate a year of domestic operations before expanding into international markets.

Currently, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) collaborates with Air China to offer connecting flights that link Pakistan with 16 major Chinese cities through Beijing.

Serene Air has been gradually establishing a presence in Pakistan’s aviation industry and is well-received by passengers. According to a recent report from the Civil Aviation Authority, the airline achieved the fourth position in terms of punctuality, boasting a rate of 62.07%.
