The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is reportedly planning to destabilize Pakistan by targeting educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and the residences of military and police personnel. Security sources, according to some Pakistani media, have revealed these plans following a phone call from Noor Wali Mehsud, the leader of the banned TTP. In the call, Mehsud instructs his operatives to execute attacks in Pakistan.
This revelation reinforces Islamabad’s position that Afghan territory is being used to launch terrorist attacks against Pakistan. Many TTP leaders, including Noor Wali, are believed to be in Afghanistan’s border regions, orchestrating terror networks responsible for recent attacks in Pakistan. The call also includes conversations with local commanders Ahmad Hussain Mehsud, known as Ghat Haji, and Saqib Gandapur.

Noor Wali Mehsud’s directives in the call include two main strategies for creating unrest. First, he orders attacks on government schools or hospitals, suggesting that his operatives carry out these bombings discreetly, without claiming responsibility. Second, he instructs targeting the homes of police officers and soldiers.
Mehsud emphasizes keeping these plans confidential and ensuring no links are traced back to the TTP. Ahmad Hussain confirms these plans, advising Gandapur to target the homes of senior police, army, and FC officials and to carry out attacks on schools discreetly without claiming credit.
