[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Two unfortunate events occurred in Karachi on Tuesday, when armed thieves shot and killed a Pakistani Canadian and a businessman. The victims were killed while fighting mugging attempts in Nazimabad and Orangi Town, respectively.
The local police have been under fire for failing to regulate street violence, as the number of deaths from robbery-related shootings has risen to a startling 70 in just under six months this year.
The first incidence occurred near the Nazimabad Board Office, when Pakistani Canadian citizen Amin Alvi was killed during a heist. According to authorities, Alvi was out shopping with four street children when the awful occurrence occurred.

Two males arrived on a motorbike, according to the child, with one of them approaching the car after dismounting from the bike. As the man came, the youngster stated, he ordered that Alvi hand over his cash and valuables
Alvi, according to the boy, originally assured the attacker of his consent but then pushed him away when the mugger reached into his pocket. As a result, the mugger shot Alvi and fled the scene with his accomplice.
Surprisingly, the boy stated that Alvi had been lying on the road for several minutes and that no passing automobiles had offered assistance. A rickshaw driver eventually came forward and transported him to the hospital. Despite medical attention, Alvi died as a result of his injuries.
