A bill to establish Danish schools is passed in Balochistan.

The measure was introduced in the assembly session, which was presided over by Acting Speaker Sardar Babar Khan Musakhail, by Balochistan Education Minister Nasibullah Marri. According to the prime minister, the authority would allow for the establishment of Daanish schools throughout the province. Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo will serve as the authority’s chairman, and the education minister will serve as vice chairman.

The provincial chief secretary, a senior revenue board member, additional chief secretaries for planning and development, education and finance, additional secretaries for the federal ministry of education and professional training, and additional secretaries for the finance and planning divisions are among the additional members. The authority will also include three private members.

Education Minister Marri stated in response to a query from Opposition Leader Malik Sikander Khan that the federal government would cover 80% of the costs associated with the schools and the provincial government would cover the remaining 20%. He said that the land for the divisional-level schools would be arranged by the provincial administration.

Asghar Khan Achakzai, the ANP’s parliamentary leader, discussed the situation in Harnai and said that the authorities there were not implementing the recommendations made in the report on the incident from the previous year in which terrorists stormed a checkpoint and killed two troops. He claimed that new checkpoints had been set up nearby, worsening the issues for the inhabitants. He suggested that the government beef up the safety of coal-hauling trucks.

Mir Ziaullah Langove, the province minister for home and tribal affairs, claimed that the administration was doing everything it could to safeguard citizens’ lives and property. The minister mentioned that he will urge the police inspector general to send one platoon of the Balochistan Constabulary to Kharan to help with law and order issues.

He regretted that people were blaming the government for the deteriorating law and order situation, but when the government started taking action against the individuals responsible for such crimes, people started to gather on the streets. He emphasised that terrorism could only be defeated with the support of the general populace, the government, and security agencies.
