KPK Announces Updated Winter School Guidelines

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Education Department has released new winter guidelines allowing students across the province to wear sweaters and gloves of any color during the cold season.

Officials explained that the move aims to help students stay warm without being limited by uniform color rules. The Directorate of Education has instructed all schools and educational institutions to implement the updated winter attire policy immediately, ensuring comfort and flexibility as temperatures drop.

Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the government has announced an extended winter break for schools in colder areas. Classes there will close on December 16 and remain suspended for about two and a half months due to harsh weather conditions, with schools scheduled to reopen on March 1 when temperatures rise.
