The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a major recruitment drive to fill 200 Junior Executive (Data Entry Operator) positions across various districts of Karachi and interior Sindh. The move aims to strengthen NADRA’s network and improve service delivery in underserved regions.
According to an official statement, the hiring initiative is part of NADRA’s broader expansion and modernization plan designed to enhance its public service capacity. The authority intends to ensure that citizens in both urban and rural Sindh can access services efficiently and without delays.
The new positions will be offered across NADRA’s regional and district-level offices in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, and several smaller districts. Successful candidates will be responsible for data entry, citizen registration, and front-desk operations.
A NADRA spokesperson said the recruitment drive reflects the organization’s commitment to improving public access and creating employment opportunities. “This initiative will not only expand our operational capacity but also empower youth across Sindh by offering meaningful job opportunities,” the spokesperson added.
Interested applicants are expected to apply through NADRA’s official career portal, where eligibility criteria, qualifications, and testing details will be provided. Candidates will be selected based on merit through written tests and interviews.
The authority also plans to introduce digital upgradation projects in remote districts of Sindh to streamline ID card issuance, verification, and citizen registration systems. The recruitment of new data entry operators will play a key role in executing these digital reforms.
Observers note that this recruitment move comes as NADRA continues to expand its role in national digital governance, data protection, and identity management. The addition of more staff will help the organization handle rising public demand for registration services and online verification systems.
In another development, the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has initiated employment and service delivery reforms focused on improving citizens’ welfare across the province. The initiative, which emphasizes dignity and accountability, demonstrates the growing importance of public-sector modernization efforts across Pakistan.

NADRA’s latest announcement has been widely welcomed, especially among young job seekers in Sindh, as it offers new opportunities for professional growth within one of Pakistan’s most vital government institutions.
