LAHORE – A viral video from Lahore has stirred outrage online, showing groups of youngsters performing in drag, wearing revealing outfits, and dancing at what appeared to be an LGBTQ-themed party.
The event sparked intense criticism from activists and journalists, with fashion designer Maria B denouncing it as immoral, vulgar, and “satanic.” She claimed that clips shared with her by children depicted male performers in drag alongside reversed Urdu script and third-eye imagery, which she associated with the figure of Dajjal.
In her social media post, Maria B warned parents about what she called a destructive agenda targeting youth, morality, and family values. She also condemned authorities for allowing such gatherings, accusing them of promoting un-Islamic and Western cultural influences under the guise of art and culture. Citing the controversy over the film Joyland, she suggested foreign pressure may be shaping cultural policies.
Maria B urged families to remain alert, monitor their children, and safeguard traditional values against what she described as a growing threat to society.
