The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a major upgrade to its Pak ID mobile app. This update introduces a new appointment booking feature for NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs).
This feature, currently in its initial phase, will soon be available at 43 NRCs across Pakistan. It aims to make it easier for citizens to book appointments and reduce wait times at service centers.
NADRA shared the news through official channels, highlighting its commitment to improving public services through digital technology. The Pak ID app is already used for online CNIC applications and biometric login. With this upgrade, the app will become a full digital platform for accessing NADRA services.
The first phase will include major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Multan. It will also cover remote areas such as Skardu, Gwadar, and Diamir.
Using the new feature, citizens can book appointments, check available slots, receive confirmations, and avoid long queues. This is expected to enhance the overall user experience at NADRA centers.
NADRA has urged all users to update the Pak ID app regularly to access the new appointment booking feature once it is launched.
This upgrade supports NADRA’s mission to provide efficient, transparent, and technology-driven services to the public. It reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to modernize citizen services and make them more accessible.
With this new feature, NADRA hopes to streamline the process for identity card applications and related services nationwide. The move will benefit millions of Pakistanis by saving time and improving service quality.
Overall, NADRA’s app upgrade marks an important step in Pakistan’s digital transformation journey.
