Honda Atlas has dispatched a second consignment of locally assembled cars to Japan, consisting of 38 Honda City 1.2L units. The first shipment, which included 40 units, was sent in April 2025 and marked a key achievement for Pakistan’s automotive industry.
This latest export reinforces Honda’s role in the global supply chain and highlights growing trust in the quality of vehicles assembled in Pakistan. Company representatives noted that the exports reflect rising production standards and a broader push to enter international markets.

Pakistan’s auto sector is increasingly looking outward. In July 2023, Toyota Indus exported 50 units—including Fortuner, Corolla Cross, and IMV models—while Changan Pakistan sent 14 Oshan X7 SUVs to Kenya and Tanzania. More recently, Hyundai Nishat joined the export drive by shipping Santa Fe Hybrid CBUs to Sri Lanka, demonstrating the industry’s momentum in expanding beyond domestic demand.
