India’s National Radiological Safety Division has confirmed that a BrahMos missile depot in Punjab was struck during a Pakistani military operation on May 10, leading to a radiation alert in the surrounding area.

Following the incident, emergency protocols were activated, including the evacuation of a three-kilometer radius and warnings to residents within five kilometers to remain indoors to avoid radioactive exposure. The alert has sparked serious concerns over civilian safety and environmental hazards.
