PM Shehbaz announced in a tweet that he had arrived in Doha to attend the UN conference at the request of his “brother,” Qatar Amir HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.

He declared that he will present Pakistan’s viewpoint on the socioeconomic problems that the least developed nations in Asia and Africa are confronting during the meeting.

He continued by saying that the geo-strategic disruption of the food and energy supply chains, post-pandemic conditions, and climate change have all negatively impacted LDCs.

“These worldwide occurrences have exposed them. Putting the welfare of the populace at the forefront of public policy will benefit LDCs, he tweeted.

PM Shehbaz will deliver his speech at the UN conference on March 6, according to a tweet from Minister of Communication and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb.

In addition, she said, he will attend a reception held by the Amir of Qatar in honour of the visiting heads of state and government.

On the margins of the UN summit, the prime minister will meet in-person with participating heads of state and government during his stay in Doha.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
