To fill the gap, the team has signed West Indies all-rounder Kyle Mayers, who will join the squad before their sixth match in Lahore.
Head Coach Mike Hesson expressed understanding of van der Dussen’s decision, stating, “We completely support Rassie and his family. While we’re pleased with our start to the season, we know the road ahead is tough. Kyle Mayers brings strong T20 credentials and we’re confident he’ll contribute well to our campaign.”
