Faisalabad – Police have arrested the prime suspect in the Faisalabad motorway gang-rape and robbery case.
The suspect, identified as Ali Sher, was apprehended after the victim’s family recognized him. Reports indicate that he is a resident of the same village as the victim.

The horrific incident took place in Faisalabad’s Sandal Bar area, where three armed men intercepted a couple, Adnan and his wife, on Motorway Bridge 62. Holding them at gunpoint, they forced the couple into nearby fields, restrained the husband, and brutally assaulted the wife before fleeing with their belongings.
Following the attack, Adnan reported the crime to the police. Faisalabad CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar directed SP Iqbal Town Abid Zafar to ensure the swift arrest of the culprits.
The case is reminiscent of the tragic Lahore-Sialkot Motorway assault on September 9, 2020, where a stranded woman was attacked and gang-raped in front of her children.
