As Ramadan began, the prices of cooking oils in Karachi saw a sharp increase, intensifying financial pressures on local residents. Edible oils, including both cooking and mustard oils, experienced significant price hikes.

This rise in oil prices coincided with increasing fruit costs, further exacerbating consumer concerns during Ramadan.
