Rajab Butt Sparks Controversy Over Religious Remarks in Music Video Promotion

Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has landed in the spotlight again, this time due to an unconventional marketing tactic for promoting Hamza Malik’s music video ‘Over You,’ which features Hira Mani. Known for his dramatic wedding, legal issues, and recent disputes with Talha Reviews, Butt’s latest move has triggered a wave of criticism online.

During a live session, Butt urged his fans to help the music video reach 1 million views, but it was his choice of words that sparked controversy. He asked fans to support the video by saying, “Take my music video to a million views, Allah Nabi Ke Sadqay,” blending religious references into his promotional pitch.

His statement has divided social media users, with many accusing him of insensitivity for mixing religion with entertainment. Some fans, however, defended him, claiming his words were merely a way of expressing his hopes for the video’s success.

One user remarked, “There’s no need to bring religious sentiments into promoting a song. It’s disrespectful.” Another added, “Rajab Butt never fails to stir controversy, but this was out of line.”

Despite the backlash, Butt appears undeterred, continuing to push for more views. While some see it as a clever marketing stunt, others believe it crosses ethical boundaries. Either way, Rajab Butt remains a figure of discussion once again.
