RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, currently detained in jail on multiple charges, has penned a letter to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Asim Munir, urging policy reforms.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, confirmed the six-point letter, written in his capacity as a former PM and party leader.

The letter addresses electoral fraud, the 26th Constitutional Amendment, judiciary-related concerns, terrorism charges against PTI members, and the role of intelligence agencies. It also highlights the Al-Qadir Trust case and expresses solidarity with the military’s efforts against terrorism, acknowledging their sacrifices for the nation.
Khan also criticized the recently enacted PECA law, citing risks to press freedom, and pointed out the country’s struggling economy, including the halt on currency devaluation. He called for a judicial commission’s formation and urgent policy changes.
