A case has been registered at the Bori police station against the unidentified thieves. However, no arrests have been made as of yet in connection with the incident.

Jabal Noor-ul-Quran, constructed in 1992, houses a tunnel carved into the mountain where ancient copies of the Quran and pages of martyrs are stored. The facility attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. It was turned into a shrine by two brothers who wanted to honor the Holy Quran. Some of the copies on display are believed to be up to 600 years old.

This theft has raised concerns about the safety and protection of sacred Islamic artifacts, as the stolen copies hold immense historical and religious value.
