Schools across Punjab will reopen on January 13 after the winter break, with the Department of Special Education announcing revised timings due to the ongoing cold wave. Special education institutions, which have been closed since December 20, will resume operations on Monday with new hours. These schools will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday and Saturday, while on Fridays, they will close earlier at 12:00 PM.
To accommodate the chilly weather, the department has relaxed the uniform requirements for students in special education schools. This adjustment will be in effect from January 13 until February 15, allowing students to wear warmer clothing during this period.
