Karachi’s Safari Park announced the heartbreaking death of Sonu, a well-known elephant, found lifeless during a routine morning check. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.

Sonu, initially thought to be male but later identified as female after a decade, reportedly passed away peacefully during sleep. Her death comes shortly after another elephant, Madhubala, was relocated from Karachi Zoo to Safari Park, where Sonu lived with another elephant, Malka.
