Mobile data users are facing issues with sharing pictures, documents, and audio files, while DSL users have also been affected by the internet outages. The disruptions have caused significant communication difficulties, particularly as many people rely on popular messaging platforms to stay in touch.

Internet monitoring portal NetBlocks confirmed the disruptions, reporting that WhatsApp’s services have been restricted across the country.
