Kumar Sangakkara Praises Pakistan 'The Most Peaceful Country with the Warmest Hospitality'

Kumar Sangakkara spoke highly of Pakistan’s hospitality and praised the country for its peaceful atmosphere and the warm reception they received during Sri Lanka’s 2009 tour. In his statement, he said:

“Pakistan is the most peaceful country in the world. They have the most loyal and well-mannered fans. Pakistan is the land of hospitality. We really enjoyed the hospitality of Pakistan when we toured there in 2009. We all received a warm welcome. Especially my teammate Thilan Samaraweera received the warmest welcome. He said he’ll never forget the hospitality of Pakistan.”

Sangakkara also expressed a desire to return to Pakistan, saying, “I would like to visit Pakistan one day again.” He further added that many of his Sri Lankan teammates were disappointed about missing out on the Champions Trophy spot, as it meant they would not have the opportunity to visit Pakistan again.

His remarks highlight the strong bond between the Sri Lankan team and their Pakistani counterparts, showcasing the camaraderie and respect between the two cricketing nations.
