Punjabi superstar Dijit Dosanjh has made history as the first South Asian artist to grace the cover of Billboard Magazine. Known for pioneering the “Punjabi wave,” which fuses hip-hop, rap, and folk music, Dosanjh will be featured on the cover of Billboard Canada’s inaugural print edition set to be released in December.

His Dil-Luminati tour has garnered significant attention and is considered one of the most successful tours for a South Asian singer, despite some controversy regarding payments to dancers. His manager, Sonali Singh, will share exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from the tour in the upcoming issue of Billboard Canada.
