A woman, who had filed for divorce, was allegedly raped by her own lawyer in Rawalpindi. The victim has lodged a complaint against the lawyer, Advocate Iftikhar Hussain, at the Civil Lines police station, and authorities have formed teams to apprehend the suspect.
According to the complainant, the lawyer assaulted her under the pretense of marriage. She claimed that he initially called her to Kechahri, where he raped her. The woman explained that she had come into contact with Advocate Iftikhar while seeking legal representation for her divorce.

She further alleged that the lawyer had promised to marry her after her divorce and had been sexually assaulting her at Kechahri and various other locations under this false promise. However, he later refused to marry her.
