Man Murders Four Women in the Name of Honor

In a horrific incident in Karachi’s Lea Market, a man murdered four female family members, including his mother and sister, allegedly in the name of honor. The suspect, identified as Bilal, was apprehended by police after the bodies of the women were discovered in a flat near the market.

During police interrogation, Bilal confessed to killing his mother, divorced sister, niece, and sister-in-law, claiming it was an act of honor. According to authorities, he had recently returned from Umrah two weeks prior and suspected the women of engaging in extramarital affairs, despite having divorced his wife previously.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the women had been murdered, and further inquiries revealed that Bilal’s actions were motivated by family disputes and his illicit relationships. The police have registered a case against him, and investigations are ongoing.

In a related case, a man in Faisalabad set his wife on fire in another honor-related incident. The victim, Sanober, was reportedly attacked while working in the kitchen by her husband, Naveed, who has since been arrested. Sanober suffered severe burns covering over 60% of her body, and her daughter stated that her father frequently abused her mother.
