Rawalpindi Students Clash with Police Protesting Lahore Rape

Tensions rose in Rawalpindi as students protested over an alleged rape at a Lahore college. According to local media, demonstrators clashed with police, throwing stones as officers attempted to disperse them. Students reportedly vandalized hostel rooms and set furniture on fire.

The protests in Punjab were sparked by claims of sexual assault on campus, causing outrage. However, both the college administration and the Punjab government denied the allegations, with the victim’s parents also refuting the claims, adding to the confusion and heightened emotions.
