MoneyGram Confirms Data Breach Affecting Customer Information

MoneyGram has confirmed that hackers breached its systems and stole sensitive customer data and transaction information during a cyberattack last month, as reported by TechCrunch.

On Monday, the company announced that an unauthorized third party accessed and acquired personal details from customers during the breach that occurred on September 20. This incident resulted in a week-long outage that affected both its website and app.
