Massive Raid Conducted at Karachi Airport

In two separate operations at Karachi Airport, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration apprehended eight passengers attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan using fake documents.

  • Among those arrested is a police officer from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who was planning to travel to Germany.
  • Four women, led by a suspect named Akram, were caught trying to travel to Saudi Arabia under the pretense of performing Umrah. Their real intention was to beg in the country.
  • Three other suspects, Salman, Mohammad Nauman, and Mohammad Hussain, were detained while attempting to travel to Azerbaijan on fraudulent study visas.
  • Investigations revealed that a fake German visa was found on Mohammad Hussain‘s mobile phone. The suspects were allegedly planning to obtain on-arrival German visas in Azerbaijan, having paid between Rs300,000 to Rs800,000 for the scheme.
