Government raises LPG prices for September

According to the notification released on Saturday, the consumer price of LPG has been set at Rs. 243.99 per kg for September. Consequently, the price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder will be Rs. 2,879.1, up from Rs. 2,796.5 in August.

This price adjustment is influenced by the increase in the Saudi Aramco Contract Price (CP) by approximately 3.7 percent and a slight rise in the average US Dollar exchange rate by 0.046 percent, which have contributed to the higher LPG rates for consumers.
