A large-scale raid has been conducted at Islamabad International Airport

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized over eight and a half kilos of drugs in four separate operations against drug trafficking. During these operations, four individuals were arrested. In one operation, 55 capsules filled with ice (methamphetamine) were recovered from a passenger traveling from Islamabad to Qatar. In another operation, a passenger heading to Saudi Arabia from Lahore was found with 2.6 kg of ice and 235 grams of heroin.

In Kasur, two suspects were apprehended with 3 kg of heroin. Additionally, a parcel sent from Lahore to Peshawar was intercepted, containing 2 kg of heroin and 1 kg of ice. The ANF spokesperson emphasized the force’s dedication to fighting drug trafficking and dismantling the networks involved in the illegal drug trade.
