Sir Lewis Hamilton Inspires Children on CBeebies 'Bedtime Stories'

Formula 1 legend Sir Lewis Hamilton recently appeared on CBeebies Bedtime Story, reading “Small’s Big Dream” by Manjeet Mann. The tale focuses on a girl named Small who believes her dreams are too big. Hamilton shared, “I felt it was really inspiring, it reminded me of my childhood and the big dreams that I had as a kid.” He emphasized the importance of believing in oneself and working hard, stating, “No dream is too big or small and as long as you believe in yourself and continue to work hard, stay focused and give it absolutely everything, anything is possible.”

Hamilton’s reading aired on July 3 at 6.50 pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer. The CBeebies Bedtime Story series, a family favorite since 2002, features star-studded guests who read inspiring stories to encourage a passion for reading among children.

Hamilton’s appearance aimed to inspire young viewers to pursue their dreams despite any discouragement they may face. Reflecting on the story, Hamilton noted, “I know that there are many kids out there that have big dreams too. Perhaps there will be people telling them that their dream’s too big. But this story really emphasizes that no dream is too big or small and as long as you believe in yourself and continue to work hard, stay focused and give it absolutely everything, anything is possible.”

The CBeebies Bedtime Story airs each weekday at 6.50 pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, continuing its mission to inspire children through engaging stories and high-profile guest readers.
