In a move aimed at increasing convenience for Islamabad’s residents, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced an online platform for property tax payments. This means that you no longer have to make a physical trip to CDA offices, as the civic authority has now launched an online service that allows you to pay your property tax from the comfort of your own home.

Moreover, citizens can also use this online system to settle their water bills and access various other services via the internet. To make payments online, simply visit the CDA website.

The CDA, in an official statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), highlighted their commitment to facilitating online payments to simplify the process for their citizens. With this new service, consumers can conveniently pay their water bills, property taxes, and other service fees from the comfort of their own homes.

The introduction of the online property tax payment feature is part of CDA’s ongoing efforts to improve public convenience. It was recently reported that the authority is also in the process of digitizing plot records. A dedicated website is in development for this purpose, which will provide information on both residential and commercial plots, as well as buildings.

Additionally, CDA is actively working on the creation of a pro forma for the submission of plot details. This pro forma is designed to lay the groundwork for building a comprehensive data repository, which will greatly assist in the digitization of records. Ultimately, citizens will have unrestricted access to all these digitized records.
