Pakistani Rupee Continues Recovery Against US Dollar

In Karachi, the Pakistani rupee’s recovery against the US dollar continues, as it appreciated by Rs1.04 in the interbank market on Wednesday.Forex dealers have reported data indicating that the PKR is strengthening further against the US dollar in the early trading hours of the interbank market today.

The exchange rate for the rupee currently stands at around 298.85, reflecting an increase of Rs1.04 compared to previous rates in the interbank market.

In recent sessions, the struggling rupee has made significant gains against the US dollar following the government’s announcement of measures to combat hoarding and smuggling of the local currency last week.

On a global scale, the US dollar remains stable in anticipation of a crucial US inflation report scheduled for later in the day.
