This five-day event serves as a significant catalyst for the burgeoning trade and business connections between China and countries in South Asia.

The China-South Asia Exposition stands as the largest expo in Yunnan province. Over the past few years, participants have engaged in showcasing various products, such as carpets and scarves. With the conclusion of Covid-19 emergency measures, this year’s expo has seen an increase in both exhibitors and visitors, according to Muzaffar, a Pakistani exhibitor.

Approximately 300 Pakistani representatives are actively participating in the expo, including more than 60 exhibitors, 40 delegates, and others. Pakistani goods like jade, leather jackets, footballs, and brass ornaments have garnered considerable interest from Chinese buyers.
