[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In June 2023, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) received 14,024 complaints from telecom consumers against various telecom operators and cellular operators, of which 13,844 (98.72 percent) were settled.
According to official data, complaints were made against a variety of telecom companies, including cellular mobile operators (CMOs).
PTCL, long-distance international (LDI) operators, wireless local loop (WLL) operators, and internet service providers (ISPs) in June.
Cellular mobile subscribers account for a sizable portion of the total telecom subscriber base. As a result, this portion receives the greatest amount of complaints. The total number of complaints against CMOs by June stood at 13,359, out of which, 13,324 (99.74 percent) were addressed.

According to PTA data, Jazz received 5,925 complaints, of which 5,923 (99.97 percent) were handled.
Furthermore, Telenor received 2,496 complaints, of which 2,495 (99.96 percent) were handled. Similarly, 3510 complaints were received against Zong, with 3500 (99.72 percent) being resolved.
A total of 1421 complaints were filed against Ufone, with 1401 (98.59 percent) of them being addressed.
The PTA also received 133 complaints against basic telephony, out of which, 106 were addressed during June, for a resolution rate of 79.7 percent. In addition, 512 complaints were received against ISPs, 400 (78.13 percent) of which were addressed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
