Shah Rukh Khan Launches ODI World Cup 2023 Campaign

With just 77 days left until the first match, the campaign aims to connect fans worldwide to the nine emotions, known as ‘Navarasa’, commonly experienced during a cricket match.

The campaign features a film with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and renowned cricketers, showcasing historic moments from previous Men’s Cricket World Cups. The film explores the rollercoaster of emotions experienced by players and fans alike, connecting the ‘Navarasa’ emotions of anguish, bravery, glory, joy, passion, power, pride, respect, and wonder.

ICC CEO Geoff Allardice expressed excitement for the campaign and the upcoming World Cup, commencing in Ahmedabad on October 5. He described the campaign as a celebration of One Day International cricket, capturing the shared experience of emotions during a match.

Jay Shah, BCCI Secretary, also emphasized the significance of ODI cricket, delivering thrilling moments and intense battles, and expressed the organization’s commitment to creating a world-class event.
