The event, expected to take place in New York, will be livestreamed online. The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of OnePlus’ first-ever foldable phone, which is set to go on sale during the third quarter of the year.
Following the international launch, the OnePlus Fold will directly compete with flagship foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.
Previous reports have indicated that the OnePlus Fold will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB storage. The primary screen will be a 7.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a punch-hole selfie camera, while the secondary screen is expected to be a 6.3-inch panel with similar specifications.

With a 4,800 mAh battery split between the two halves of the phone, the OnePlus Fold is anticipated to support 67W wired charging. However, there is no information available yet regarding wireless charging.
In terms of pricing, the OnePlus Fold is expected to be priced around $1500 to compete with other premium foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold.
