The unfortunate tragedy occurred as a result of a stampede at the BISP centre on the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Ground.
According to the Keamari SSP, a few women attempted to scale the wall and jump into the KPT ground in order to obtain the BISP sum.

A stampede occurred in the centre, and several ladies fainted and were hurt. Ambulances were dispatched to rescue the women, who were then transported to a local hospital.
According to Dr. Sabir Memon, the trauma center’s director, the majority of the women became unconscious due to suffocation. They were taken to the Benazir Bhutto Trauma Centre, where they were given first aid.
Funds disbursement at BISP facilities had already been halted for two days due to extreme heat in several parts of the country.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
