The 24-year-old midfielder, who has previously played for Burnley and West Brom, also represented the Men in Green in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) confirmed on Twitter that the England-born midfielder is available to play for the Shaheens.

Otis Khan, a former Manchester United youth player, was apparently scheduled to get international clearance to represent Pakistan in future competitions earlier this week.
Last week, FIFA authorised a change in national eligibility for outstanding footballer Easah Suliman from England, which bodes well for the national team.
Head coach Shehzad Anwar said earlier this year that Easah Suliman, Otis Khan, and Hamza Zahid, who plays for Al-Rams Club, will be eligible for Pakistan in June.
It was announced last week that Pakistan will compete in a four-nation Cup in Mauritius beginning on June 8, preparatory to the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship.
During the FIFA international window in June, the Men in Green will participate against hosts Mauritius, Kenya, and Djibouti in a 10-day four-nation competition.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
