Police Arrest Gang Involved in Making Karachi Citizens Eat Haram Chickens

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to sources, three people were arrested on Thursday in Karachi by police for their involvement in the distribution of meat from dead poultry chicks from Thatta.

After seizing over 1,000 dead chickens in Karachi’s Korangi No. 4, police nabbed Hasnain Aslam, Javed, and Farooq, all of whom made alarming confessions.

Police revealed that dead chicken flesh was being delivered to the port city from numerous poultry farms in Thatta. The detained suspects admitted to selling chicken meat to several hotels and markets in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Korangi, and Landhi.

In a similar event in 2021, Punjab police conducted a raid and apprehended a gang involved in the distribution of dead animal flesh to restaurants in Pakpattan and other cities. On the basis of a tip, police caught providers from various parts of the city and seized more than 40 kg of meat from their possession.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
