ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold remaining above Rs429,000 per tola following fresh gains in both local and international bullion markets.
According to the latest market update, the price of 24K gold increased by Rs4,700 per tola during the previous trading session, taking the new rate to Rs429,236 per tola. The price of 10 grams of 24K gold also recorded a significant increase of Rs4,029, reaching approximately Rs363,971.
The latest bullion rates show that gold per tola is trading at Rs429,236, while 10 grams of gold are priced at around Rs368,000. In the international market, gold is trading at $4,068 per ounce, while the price of silver per tola has reached Rs6,396.
The increase comes just one day after the domestic gold market experienced a notable correction. Despite the earlier decline, prices rebounded quickly as global bullion markets strengthened.
Other gold purity rates have also moved higher. 22-karat gold is now priced at Rs391,416.67 per tola, 21-karat gold at Rs373,625 per tola, and 18-karat gold at Rs320,250 per tola. Prices for one gram and 10 grams of these categories have also increased accordingly.
Market experts attribute the latest rally to international trends, where gold gained $47 per ounce, supported by a premium of $20. The rise in global bullion prices has directly influenced Pakistan’s domestic market, leading to higher gold rates across the country.
Silver prices also registered gains during the latest trading session. The price of one tola of silver increased by Rs219, reaching Rs6,396, reflecting broader strength in the precious metals market.
Analysts believe gold prices in Pakistan will continue to follow international market movements, with global economic conditions, geopolitical developments, currency fluctuations, and investor demand expected to remain the key factors influencing future bullion prices.
