The Punjab government has announced 1,400 internship opportunities with Rescue 1122 under the Chief Minister Internship Program, providing young healthcare professionals with practical training in emergency response, rescue operations, and public safety services.
According to the official advertisement, candidates holding qualifications in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, or Allied Health Sciences are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess a diploma or degree from a recognized board, council, or university and have secured at least a second division in their academic qualifications.
The internship program is open exclusively to Punjab domicile holders between the ages of 18 and 30 years. Authorities say the initiative is designed to help young graduates gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside emergency response professionals in real-life situations.
Officials noted that participants will receive practical exposure to emergency care, rescue operations, and disaster response activities. The program aims to strengthen professional skills and improve employment prospects for healthcare graduates entering the workforce.
According to the advertisement, exceptional interns may also be considered for future opportunities within Rescue 1122. This provision is expected to encourage participants to demonstrate strong performance throughout the training period.
