Weather Update for Lahore ahead of PSL 11 Final

LAHORE: The PSL 11 final has finally arrived, with excitement reaching its peak as fans gear up for a highly anticipated clash. However, the big match could face interruptions as a fresh weather system brings the possibility of rain and strong winds.

The final between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen is under threat due to worsening weather conditions expected on Sunday night.

According to the Met Office, Lahore may experience rainfall, gusty winds, and thunderstorms as a weak westerly system moves across the upper parts of the country. These unstable conditions have raised concerns about possible disruptions, including delays, interruptions, or even a reduced match.

Despite the weather concerns, fan enthusiasm remains high, with a large crowd still expected at the stadium for one of the biggest games of the season. However, spectators have been advised to stay cautious and monitor weather updates before heading out.

Authorities have also warned about potentially dangerous conditions such as strong winds, lightning, and hail, which could pose safety risks and damage exposed structures like electricity poles, billboards, and solar panels.

As anticipation builds for the PSL 11 finale, attention has now shifted to the weather, which could play a decisive role in how the match unfolds.

Earlier, Lahore and several parts of Punjab experienced varying levels of rainfall due to western winds, bringing a noticeable drop in temperature and more pleasant conditions.

Currently, temperatures in Lahore are around 29°C, with intermittent showers reported across different areas. Weather officials say temperatures may range between 25°C and 35°C, with partly cloudy skies and further chances of rain in the coming days.
