Dubai Police has released a thorough plan to secure all mosques and significant prayer grounds, deploy patrols on the roadways, and bolster security in major locations, tourist hotspots, shopping malls, and outdoor markets. This strategy was presented in a statement by the state news agency, WAM.

It will send out a total of 4,387 police officers, including 66 traffic sergeants, 798 private security guards, and 465 security patrols to bolster security measures.

165 lifeguards, 14 marine security boats, 123 ambulances, 738 paramedics, 10 rescue boats, 29 bicycle patrols, 75 civil defence vehicles, 24 small cranes, and 17 land rescue patrols will also be present at Dubai beaches.

Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Head of the Events Security Committee and Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs at the Dubai Police, announced that the Command and Control Centre would be open twenty-four hours a day in case of an emergency.

He advised locals to use the ‘Police Eye’ through the Dubai Police app or phone 901 for non-emergencies and 999 for emergencies to report any complaints.

Al Ghaithi also suggested that people drive carefully, obey speed limits, and watch out for young passengers when visiting beaches and other popular tourist destinations.

He warned the parents against letting their kids play with fireworks during Eid because they can result in severe burns, permanent disability, and other people’s lives and property being put in danger.
